Sichuan Engineering Technical College (SCETC) is a National Model College and a High-level Vocational College with Chinese characteristics. SCETC has been awarded the National May 1st Labor Certificate, the National High-skilled Talent Cultivation Outstanding Contribution Award and recognized as one of the top 50 Colleges in the aspect of graduate employment as well as social contribution. SCETC has won the first prize of the 6th National Education Excellence Awards for Higher Education and the first prize of the National Vocational Education Excellence Award for Vocational Education in 2018. Furthermore, SCETC’s achievement was presented in the grand exhibition of achievements in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), showing the praise and approval of SCETC as a model in vocational education.
There are 15 experimental training centers and production-oriented teaching factories on campus, 4 Sichuan Provincial Engineering Laboratories for high-temperature alloy cutting, industrial robot application, aerospace material testing and die forging, and advanced manufacturing technology of ramjet engines. SCETC offers 32 majors and 4 undergraduate majors. It is a nationwide recognized top college for the CNC and Welding with many leading majors such as CNC, welding, electric, interior decoration, marketing, and tourism management which emphasis both practice and innovation in their teaching.
Experiencing various activities like culture and art festival, science and technology festival and so on, students of SCETC develop themselves both physically and mentally. SCETC’s men’s football team has entered the Chinese University Football League (CUFL) national finals for seven consecutive years, winning four champions and three runners-up; its women's basketball team won the China Higher Vocational College Basketball League (CCBA) finals for three consecutive years.
Adhering to the principle of open education and bringing in the international advanced technology, SCETC has established Siemens center and KUKA center to help upgrade China manufacturing technology, cultivating skilled talents with international vision and familiar with international standards. SCETC has been working together with Chinese enterprises in One Belt, One Road countries to train enterprise technicians, and cooperating with more than 20 vocational colleges in Thailand to develop joint degree programs and faculty training programs. It has also long carried out international cultural exchanges with universities in the United States, Germany, Thailand and other countries.

Sichuan Engineering Technical College (SCETC), is a full-time public polytechnic college. SCETC offers 39 majors for three-years’ students, specializing in equipment manufacturing, energy power and materials, electronic information, civil construction, vehicles and transportation, finance and trade, education , tourism and art etc.. It aims to cultivate high-quality and highly-skilled professionals by industry-education integration and ingenuity inheritance.

New Energy Vehicle Technology is a high-level major in Sichuan Province. It mainly cultivates professional and technical personnel for new energy automobile enterprises in pilot production, production and manufacturing, production management, sales and maintenance, intelligent service and other positions.
Welding Technology is the core major of high-level vocational school with Chinese characteristics and the first batch of key national demonstration construction majors. It mainly trains high-quality technical and skilled personnel in welding machines and intelligent welding equipment operation, welding process preparation and implementation, welding robot programming and operation, welding production management and quality control for the metal products industry, general equipment manufacturing industry, special equipment manufacturing industry and other industries.
Hotel Management and Digital Operation is a high-level major in Sichuan Province, which is mainly oriented to the modern hotel industry and tourism service industry, and trains high-quality management talents with high English and Chinese bilingual level and knowledge of hotel and tourism industry.
Cross-border E-commerce is a high-level major in Sichuan Province, which mainly cultivates professional and technical talents in cross-border e-commerce operation, business data analysis, online marketing, supply chain management, cross-border logistics, customer service and other positions for foreign trade enterprises and mainstream cross-border e-commerce platforms.
Electrical Automation is the core major of high-level vocational school with Chinese characteristics, a high-level major in Sichuan Province, the first batch of national demonstration construction majors, and the first batch of pilot majors of the "Sino-German advanced vocational education cooperation project". It is mainly oriented to the fields of general equipment manufacturing, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, and trains students to be able to engage in the production, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and automatic control systems in the field of intelligent manufacturing High-quality technical and skilled personnel in marketing and other work.

Architectural Engineering Technology is the the core major of high-level vocational school with Chinese characteristics and the major of the national construction skill training and appraisal base.
