The University has established 13 “first-class” postgraduate-level English programs and 58 courses in English for international students. Among them, the "Forestry Economic Management" course has been awarded the "English-taught branded course in China" by the Ministry of education hence becoming the only university among forestry colleges and universities that has such branded courses.

    Brief Introduction: 
    The first-level discipline of Forestry has ranked 1st in China in all previous assessments of first-level disciplines by the Ministry of Education, and entered the national "Double First-class" construction discipline in 2017. Currently, it is a first-level national key discipline of Forestry (three second-level national key disciplines of Forest Cultivation, forest manager and Forest protection), a Beijing key discipline of soil science, and a state Forestry Administration key discipline of cartography and geographic information System. Under forestry, there are two secondary disciplines: urban forestry and forestry.

    Brief Introduction: 
    The College of Soil and Water Conservation is a research-oriented college with distinctive educational characteristics and outstanding disciplinary advantages of Beijing Forestry University. At the beginning of its establishment in 1952, the school opened a course on soil and water conservation, in 1958 it opened a major in soil and water conservation, in 1980 it established the first department of soil and water conservation in China, and in 1992 it established the first college of soil and water conservation in China.#The college has three disciplines of agronomy, science and engineering, including three second-level disciplines of soil and water conservation and desertification control, physical geography, cartography and geographic information systems, and first-level disciplines of civil engineering; there are three undergraduate majors of soil and water conservation and desertification control, physical geography and resource environment, and civil engineering. The college has trained a large number of management talents in ecological environment construction and soil and water conservation, and has sent a large number of senior teaching and researchers to national institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutes, ranking in the forefront of senior talents in domestic soil and water conservation and desertification prevention and control, and enjoying a certain reputation and influence in the world.

    The School of Landscape Architecture is one of the earliest universities in China that established a major in landscape architecture, which can be traced back to 1951. Now we have five disciplines, including Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban planning, Horticulture and Tourism Management. There are 140 faculty members in the school, including one academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 32 professors, 57 associate professors and 50 lectures.#Relying on the historical accumulation and subject characteristics of landscape architecture education, Beijing Forestry University aims to improve students' international communication ability, academic innovation ability, professional comprehensive ability and professional practice ability.
