The Zhengzhou University School of Stomatology was established in 1985. It has long pioneered new educational systems as they are needed, including combined programs for undergraduate and postgraduate doctoral degrees. Currently, the School of Stomatology is composed of 16 academic sections, 10 clinical departments, and two technical laboratories. It boasts 130 dental seats for daily clinical service, and 30 patient beds. On average, more than 110,000 total patients are served per year. All told, it is a large stomatological hospital in Henan China. It is now, a unique combination of teaching, clinical service, research, and preventive oral care.

Zhengzhou University is one of the three earliest universities that conduct full English-medium undergraduate clinical medicine in China.

One of the earliest Chinese medical higher education institutions recognized by World Health Organization and approved to offer master and doctor degree programs in China.

One of the earliest universities offering English Mediated Instruction medical programs in China.

More than 1000 undergraduate students have completed their medical study with degrees since 2000.

For Now, about 940 undergraduate students are studying medicine in Zhengzhou Universities who are from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Botswana, Myanmar, Zimbabwe, the U.S.A., Canada, the UK, etc.

School of Civil Engineering was founded in 1958. In recent years, it has undertaken a variety of projects including the National Natural Science Fund Project, the Special Research Fund for Academic Construction in Higher Education Project and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Project.

Experience engineering graduates have acquired will enable them take on advanced engineering work in cross disciplinary boundaries. They will have a combination of business, problem solving and interpersonal skills; as well as technical engineering experience that will enable them to understand markets and develop relationships of trust with customers, suppliers, business partners, and to work within teams.

The School of Information Engineering was one of major schools in ZZU. The school hosts 3 key laboratories of Henan, 6 student innovation laboratories, and 14 teaching laboratories.

There are 130 full-time academic member, including 34 professors; 70 of them are PhD holders. Currently, the school, with the largest student enrollment in ZZU, has about 6977 undergraduates, 440 postgraduates, and 41 doctors.

In the recent three years, the school has hosted and completed more than 70 scientific research projects, won more than 20 scientific and technological rewards, and achieved over 40 foreign and domestic patents.

Pharmaceutical Sciences of ZZU is the key discipline of Henan Province, the key developing discipline in the 211 project, and discipline with postdoctoral working station. Pharmaceutical Analysis is an excellent course of Henan Province. The school has a number of technical platforms equipped with state-of-the-art instruments for pharmaceutical research. It has undertaken 30+ national research projects, including key project from National Natural Science Foundation of China, national “863” projects, National Key Technologies R&D Program, and State project for essential drug research. The first-class teaching and research environment here provides good platform to educate comprehensive and top-level students in pharmaceutical sciences.

International Economics and Trade is one of the fields that favoured by most international students. It is one of the top programs in international economics and trade in Henan. It bases on the fundamental economics and emphasizes on the theories and policies of international economics, international trade，and overseas investment in the global economy, as well as on the operation of international trade and overseas investment in real world practices.

This is a four-year program focuses on both the fundamental theories of economics and the field practice in the international economics, international trade, and international investment.
