The School of International Education of Hangzhou Normal University offers primary, intermediate and advanced language classes each semester. The Spring semester usually begins in late February and the Fall semester usually begins in early or mid September.

The school provides 16 teaching weeks and 20 hours of language and culture courses per week. A series of teaching practice activities is also arranged each semester. Students could choose one to three courses according to their interests and Chinese proficiency.
