This program aims to develop the Chinese language skills of international students and present them with rich and profound Chinese culture. The language training included in the program mainly focuses on improving Chinese speaking skills of international students, while the culture courses focus on helping international students learn and understand Chinese traditional culture and customs. In order to identify various levels of Chinese language proficiencies of international students, the College of International Education arranges a test of Chinese language proficiency at the beginning of the semester and assigns students to classes based on their test results. Classes are set up at different levels based on students' test results. Those who successfully complete the program will be awarded the Certificate of Completion by SDUW.
